Episode 1
New Members
928, 924, and 920 landed back on the moon base after their latest run to Åstvej Station. The crew of 928 were happy to be back and were greeted by the Flight Coordinator.
The techs were also there to welcome 928 back to base.
The crew of 924 unloaded their cargo containers with the help of the mobile crane.
Green Guy and Purplespacegirl welcomed the newest members of the moonbase as they disembarked from 928.
“Hi, I’m you’re new infrastructure and maintenance tech. Just call me Gramps.”
I’m the cook for the canteen. You can call me Greasy Smitty.”
“Greasy Smitty??? Is that your real name?”
“No actually, I just made it up. I don’t care what you call me. I’m just here to run the kitchen”
“Sure, that works."
“How about we just call you Chef then?”
“We’ll head right over then.”
“The canteen is right over there. There are a few things that need to be hooked up, but otherwise it’s ready to go.”
“Hi! We’re the lab crew you asked for. We’re here to build a pandemonium lab.”
“Good. We’re eager to get started.”
“That’s wonderful news! We really need that lab, so we’re glad you’re here.”
“This is great! We really need that lab. We’ll get you out to the mine site as soon as we can.”
Green Guy and Purplespacegirl agreed that things were really starting to look up for the moonbase.
Meanwhile, out at the mine site Survey Guy was out taking measurements and bearings by the Supply Base. Everyone was really happy about this, because that meant they were probably going to start construction soon on a new pandemonium lab.

Episode 2
A Quiet, Peaceful Day
Satellite Guy had some very exciting news for Green Guy. There had been another event in Neptune's magnetic field and their Neptune satellite was right there for it! They had collected some amazing data. Green Guy agreed that they would send it back to Åstvej Station right away for analysis.
The lab crew started heading out to the mine site.
There weren't any vehicles making the trip that day, so they made arrangements with the scout ships.
Gramps went to fix a problem with the elevator down to the habitat. He couldn't believe there was only one elevator for a base of this size. He thought that was a pretty poor operation and decided to do something about it.
Purplespacegirl was furious that people were just leaving their vehicles lying around, willy nilly. Someone needs to hand out parking tickets!
Gramps talked to Exo Guy about moving the monitoring station for 928 closer to the launch pad. He said they were going to need the space closer to the road for something else, so Exo Guy and Drillbot helped to move the building.
Gramps noticed a pile of landing pad markers behind the monitoring station. He asked Avionics Guy what they were doing there. Avionics Guy said they were supposed to be installed on 928's pad, but things had been so busy lately there just hadn't been time..
"That will go on my to-do list," thought Gramps.
Chef was all set up in the canteen. Space Sue was right, the legonauts really appreciated having the canteen for their breaks.
Exo Guy and Drillbot came back to help Gramps reconnect 928's Control Station.
Flight Coordinator debriefed the crew of 928 while the techs did their post-flight inspection.
Space Dart guy was finally able to get some maintenance done of his own. He was pretty happy about that.
Meanwhile, the remaining scout ship took over security patrols overhead.
All in all, it was a very quiet, peaceful day on the moonbase and Green Guy hoped it might stay like this for a while.
Episode 3
More Delays
The pilot of 6890 really liked his spaceship. It was designed for exploration. While he was very busy when they were first building the moonbase, he hadn't done much since it was finished.
But he knew 6890 was still a very capable spacecraft with a lot to offer. He thought he would go find Flight Coordinator and ask if there was some other way he could contribute. He backed out his hoverbike and headed into the base.
One of the Command Base members went to tell the satellite crew that Åstvej Station was thrilled with the data they had sent from the Neptune 1 satellite. A fellow named Dr Oz had been especially enthusiastic. He wanted more images and data from one of the energy burst events as soon as it happened again.
The satellite guys were pretty happy about that.
Green Guy and Purplespacegirl were looking to head out to the mine site to see how work on the new lab was proceeding. Unfortunately, the moonbase didn't have a scout ship that could take more than one person at a time.
The mobile lab was headed out there, so Purplespacegirl asked if they could hitch a ride.
The crew was happy to help, so off they went.
The pilot of 6890 overheard this and began to wonder. Taking passengers was something he might be able to help with. He had an idea and wanted to go tell Flight Co-ordinator about it right away.
Gramps got the shovel buggy to help him out. He said he needed him to dig a hole beside the canteen, a very deep hole.
497 returned from Åstvej Station with a new load of cargo and new members for the moonbase. The red 497 crew members were there to welcome them, along with Flight Co-ordinator and Cosmobot.
The new member introduced himself to Flight Co-ordinator as the Space Dozer Guy. He was very happy to be there, and looking forward to reassembling his dozer.
6980 returned alongside 497 and also landed safely. Flight Co-Ordinator and Dozer Guy went over there to greet them. They had some materials to upgrade the Command Base. The Command Base crew were pretty happy about that.
Dozer Guy climbed up to see the Command Module when it opened. He wanted to greet his friend the Space Hopper pilot, who had also been assigned to the moonbase.
Green Guy and Purplespacegirl arrived at the construction site of the new lab. The lab crew chief was happy to see them. Green Guy didn't understand what was being built. It didn't look like any kind of lab he knew of.
"What the heck are we supposed to do with this??? It doesn't look anything like a science lab!"
"Don't ask me! When we went to the used lego store, you saw it on display and you just HAD to have it. You have no one to blame but yourself."
"What are you talking about?"
"Sorry, I was thinking of someone else. Never mind."
The lab chief was excited to show them the new research lab, and it was going to be amazing!
They were going to conduct all sorts of experiments on pandemonium, identifying atomic level textures and structures that were thus far unknown. They even had a rocket shuttle that would be able to do experiments on pandemonium samples in orbit, in zero gravity!
"But we weren't expecting a research lab. We need a processing lab."
"Oh! We didn't know that. But we can build you a processing lab as soon as we're done this one. It will just take a little time."
Green Guy wasn't very happy about that. It just put more delays on the moonbase's conversion to pandemonium fuels, and delayed everything else along with it.

Episode 4
"It Is As I Suspected..."
The crew of 497 got right to work on post flight maintenance. They knew that if they got the preliminary work done, it would make things much easier for the techs.
Gramps finished digging the hole, and then started building something overtop of it. No one knew what he was doing, but he seemed to be enjoying himself.
Space Dozer guy was putting the final touches on the reassembly of his bulldozer. He was very excited to get to work.
The pilot of 6890 finally found Flight Coordinator and asked him if he could convert his spacecraft to a passenger transport. He could make a different insert where his hoverbike fit in the ship that had room for passengers. Flight Coordinator was ok with it, so long as the maintenance techs signed off on it as being safe and spaceworthy.
Meanwhile, out at the mine site, the new crewmembers had the research lab all finished and were doing the last system tests before declaring their lab fully operational.
And just as they said they would, they started in on building the processing lab. To help speed things up, some vehicles and members from the mining operation joined in.
Some of the vehicles started digging a small trench from the new lab site, going a long long way. It was heading in the direction of the main part of the moonbase.
The crew of 928 was ready to take off again for Åstvej Station, but these constant transport flights were exhausting. They were getting really tired.
Because Flight Coordinator was briefing the crew of 928, the crew of 924 went to Mission Control to get their final pre-flight briefing. With 928, they were also headed back to Åstvej Station. The briefing included the pilots of 918 and 917. Åstvej wanted them to perform the escort on this mission, but didn't say why. They were happy to do it though. They had been stuck doing stand-by on the moonbase for quite some time, and were eager to do some deep space flying.
Rocket Tech helped the Command Base crew set up their new work terminals and upgrade their operating system. They were pretty happy about that.
Out a short distance from the moonbase, 894 and 889 were trying to pick up more of those mysterious signals.
And the Space Hopper pilot began looking around for a way to get out to the mine site, so he could reassemble his spacecraft.
But the satellite monitoring crew was upset. The Neptune 1 satellite had suddenly stopped working. There had been no issues, no error codes, no nothing. It just suddenly went dead, with no warning whatsoever. They were weren't very happy about that.
Back at Åstvej Station, Dr Oz paid a visit to one of the image analysts.
Viel Dank zu Benjamin in Deutschland für die tolle Hintergrund!
"Earlier I gave you a long range photo from a satellite. Are you finished the image enhancement yet?"
"Yes doctor. It's right here."
"Hmmmmmm, it is as I suspected. Send the enhanced image to me in an encrypted file and mark it Top Secret. Do not speak to anyone of this."
Dr Oz then went to the Engineering Department. "I want you to build and launch a space station into a trojan orbit around Neptune. I think we may soon need a presence there."
"How many people in the crew?" the engineers asked.
"Build it for a crew of three, but leave it automated for now," replied the doctor. "I just want it in place should we ever need it. Once launched, leave it at minimal power with passive sensors only. I don't want it to be detected. This is a highly sensitive project, so treat it with the utmost secrecy. Now, I must find Gatsby."
"You wanted to see me doctor?"
"Yes, Gatsby. What is the status of the Rymdgripen project?"
"We are slightly behind schedule. We met the deadline for the prototype delivery, but there were design problems with the wingtip hypercannons and the tail fin assembly."
"You will need to work faster. The Rymdgripen will have to deploy ahead of schedule."
"How far ahead?"
"I do not know yet. All I can tell you is you will probably have very short notice to launch. You must redouble your efforts."
Back on the moonbase, Cosmobot stared at the canteen, thinking "what does that place have that I don't have?"

Episode 5
Launch Another Satellite
928 and 924 took off again for Åstvej Station, escorted by 917 and 918.
Gramps' new building began to take shape. The other legonauts saw that he had built another elevator access to the habitat below. They were pretty happy about that.
The space dozer guy had his equipment fully operational and got started expanding the road and landing pad network. He heard new ships were coming to the moonbase, so he had to get things ready for them.
The pandemonium processing lab was almost finished. The crews were very excited about the new possibilities it would bring, and worked very hard.
The excavators continued to dig their trench, which by now had reached all the way back to the moonbase.
And the Space Hopper was almost fully reassembled and ready to go!
The Command Base got a signal from Åstvej Station that Dr Oz wanted to have a remote meeting with Purplespacegirl about the satellites.
They were able to relay a message to her via the Flight Coordinator.
She thought she would ask the satellite crew to join in the meeting with her. That's when they told her that the Neptune 1 satellite had mysteriously stopped.
Purplespacegirl and the satellite crew had their meeting with Dr Oz. He wanted to know why the moonbase hadn't sent more data from the Neptune 1 satellite.
When they told Dr. Oz what had happened, he told them to launch a replacement satellite immediately. When they told him the mobile heavy rocket team was the last satellite they had left, Dr Oz told them he would send out replacement parts for all their rockets and satellites right away. In the meantime, they were to get a new satellite in orbit around Neptune as soon as possible.
After the meeting, Purplespacegirl told Green Guy what had happened. They agreed to ask the Mobile Heavy Rocket Team to launch their satellite to Neptune.
The Mobile Rocket Team were far from the moonbase, out near the mine site, so Purplespacegirl and Green Guy got the help of 894 to send a message out to them.
After they got the message, the Mobile Heavy Rocket Team prepared their satellite for launch. In the process, they were able to locate the Neptune 1 satellite. It didn't appear to be damaged. All of the satellite's systems were just off line, and the power source was completely shut down.
The crew made a note to share this information with the satellite monitoring team when they returned to the moonbase. In the meantime, they programmed their own satellite as Neptune 2 and successfully launched it.
While taking a break from his work on the new elevator, Gramps noticed 6890 trying to set up some parts. Gramps asked him what he was doing.
6890 said he was trying to build a sort of car, but not having much success. He confessed he really didn't know very much about cars.
Gramps said he might be able to help with that. Before he worked at the moonbase, he had some experience in building cars.

Love the Dr. Oz backstory!
Awww Gramps and the car
I agree with Purple Girl – where’s the parking enforcement??
Poor Cosmobot- don’t worry little buddy, people will always want on demand hot drinks and toast.
